What we are looking forward to
- Completed vocational training as a Tax Clerk, Financial Accountant, or a comparable commercial qualification with a focus on accounting
- At least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
- Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
- Experience in accounts receivable management; knowledge of factoring, credit management, and customer credit assessments is an advantage
- Experience working with credit insurance providers is beneficial
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and/or DATEV, and an interest in digital finance processes.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Strong affinity for numbers and a solid understanding of accounting principles
- Structured, accurate, and self-driven working style
- Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving approach
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a service-oriented attitude
- Motivation to take on new challenges and continuously develop professionally and personally
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken; English is an advantage
Your Responsibilities
As a Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you will help ensure accurate financial accounting and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes. You will work closely with internal departments and actively support optimization and digitalization initiatives.
You will not only be responsible for accounting activities, but will also actively shape finance, credit management, and digitalization processes within a growing international technology company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed asset, and general ledger accounting
- Reviewing, coding, and posting incoming invoices as well as processing payments
- Managing accounts receivable, including collections, account reconciliations, and monitoring outstanding balances
- Overseeing factoring processes, customer credit assessments, and credit limit monitoring
- Supporting the Sales team with credit-related matters and customer credit approvals
- Collaborating with credit insurance providers and external financing partners to secure receivables and minimize financial risks
- Posting business transactions and ensuring accurate and complete financial records in the general ledger
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB), as well as VAT filings and liquidity reporting
- Analyzing financial KPIs, cash flows, and working capital processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Contributing to the digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes
- Working closely with Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and other internal departments as well as external business partners in an international environment
