LPDDR3 preserves the power-efficient features and signaling interface of LPDDR2, allowing for fast clock stop/start, low-power self-refresh, and smart array management. LPDDR3 delivers more bandwidth, higher data rates, better power economy, and more memory density than LPDDR2. LPDDR3 uses three important new technologies—low-I/O capacitance, optional on-die termination (ODT), write-leveling, and command/address training.
