The Opportunity
We are seeking a high‑performing Inside Sales / Sales Operations & Support professional to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail‑driven environment, communicates confidently with customers and internal teams, and enjoys supporting complex sales operations in a global organization.
In this position, you will work closely with our outside sales team to manage customer orders, support quotations, coordinate logistics, and serve as a trusted point of contact for customers on order status, delivery updates, and product inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, review, and process sales orders with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage customer orders from entry through delivery
- Communicate with customers regarding pricing, confirmations, shipping schedules, and delays
- Generate and distribute Sales Order Confirmations
- Allocate, reserve, and release inventory for customer orders
- Coordinate expedited shipments and logistics with internal teams
- Support customer quotation requests in collaboration with Sales and Purchasing
- Monitor inventory levels to confirm product availability
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations
- Manage customer SMI/VMI programs, including forecast review and coordination with Purchasing
- Support the sales team with reporting, customer communication, and project coordination
- Prepare management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Participate in sales planning and strategy discussions
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
- Maintain professional knowledge through continuous learning and development
What We’re Looking For
- A holistic thinker with strong collaborative and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Computing, or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in sales, inside sales, or sales support (preferred)
- Knowledge of the semiconductor or tech industries is a plus
- Knowledge or experience with memory products (DRAM, Flash) is a very strong plus
- Strong organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail
- Clear, professional communication skills with customers and internal teams
- Ability to prioritize effectively and perform under deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working across departments
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a continuous‑improvement approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel, and business systems (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Proficiency and experience working with CRM tools is a strong plus
- Strong English communication skills; additional languages (Spanish or German) are a plus
- Willingness to work collaboratively in an in-person environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, supplier meetings, or trade shows
