Time-critical Deliveries

Three Questions – Three Answers

(90 seconds)

Q1: Which project was the most time critical?

A1: For a life-sustaining electromedicine company, we had to increase the usual annual quantities twelve-fold within two weeks.

Q2: That was primarily a logistics problem, right?

A2: That is what we thought at first, but we realized shortly that we would be able to work it out. However, there were also problems with the manufacturer and their raw material suppliers.  All in all, we were able to work through the issues in a few days.

Q3: Probably a hard to solve problem for the distributors as well?

A3: Absolutely.  We could only watch as the manufacturer got their problems under control. Fortunately, the larger quantities and our longstanding and stabile cooperation helped, and at the end of the day we made sure the criticality of the end-product was clear to everyone.

The customer then thanked us with a letter signed by the board of directors which further motivated our team!
